As the Head Creative & Director for the Silver Ferns Legacy Campaign, I successfully pitched against other agencies and even my own Senior Producer to win this production. I believed in this idea so much, I wrote, storyboarded, Directed and offline edited the project to keep it within budget.

My inspirations for this project was the original Rocky & Drunken Master, a story of a someone rising from the ashes of their current situation. This was because the Silver Ferns, New Zealands official Netball squad had just had their worst two  seasons in the last three decades. 

A tag line was made and a story of a rising Phoenix eager to reclaim their previous glory was sold to the New Zealand public.

Along with the main Campaign video, player Vox Pops, Social first cut downs and print advertisements pushed the Campaign which was successful in revitalising ticket sales to games and viewership...

It however did not help the girls do any better that season.
